Two new melancholy tracks are up. First one is titled 'Artless Repose'. Second one is a demo titled 'Blossomest Blossom' that I think stands well, so far, without drums, bass, etc. I actually made a version of it where my favorite TV-writer Dennis Potter talks over the guitar part, but since there's probably copyright on that I don't dare to share it with the risk of getting sued and whatnot ;)
But I urge you to check out the interview with him on youtube. The part I wanted to use starts at 5:45. He talks about accepting death and living in the present in such a wonderful way..
Anywho, hope you enjoy the new tunes.

Finally! Some new tracks are ready for you guys!
I've been experiencing a lot of new music since the last release, and genres like Afrobeat and especially math rock has brought new ideas to the table.
The first track is titled 'The Self-Saboteur' and is an angry note to myself, since I have a stupid tendency to "shoot myself in the foot" (a long story).
Second and most recent track is called 'Multiplicative Proclivities'. It's some kinda atonal math pop track and just as weird as the prior mentioned. Title is inspired by some fancy Mr. Spock lingo.
I have more ideas/tracks to come, so if all goes well I'll make a summer EP titled 'Lethargic Philophony'.
I can also reveal that I am collaborating with an American musician that I admire for his unique approach to music. You'll hear more about this when I got something to show for it :)
Have a great summer

On May third I'll be moving. Sadly it won't be to my favorite city when it comes to great music i.e. Chicago, US. No, I'm merely moving ca. 80 kilometers north of my current home in Denmark, Randers to a city called Aalborg. This is to focus more on my study. I'm pretty excited. And I'm also giving more and more thought to actually collecting some people for Savium and start performing with it. I've been saying that for many years, but who knows, I might actually do it this time. And I figure it's a good way to learn new people in a strange city.
I've uploaded a sample of a new track I'm working on, which you can stream at myspace. It's called Multiplicative Proclivities. It's far from finished, but still I predict it to be my new hit.
I'm also working on a more mediocre track called Will You Please Be Quiet, Please? Which actually is more or less finished, I just need to figure out some catchy themes to it.
But once again I have to say that I can't promise that these tracks will be finished any time soon, coz I'm feeling very lethargic, but I'm also trying to focus on my study, unsuccessfully, yet trying. Plus all the things I have to take care of before moving is also getting in the way. But rest assured I'm still trying to make music.
My band Djin has also started to rehearse again after a small break.
Recently I was contacted regarding my track An Offer for Comfort. A guy who goes by the name Tharcisse asked permission to feature it on a free trip-hop compilation that he was putting together. Although I told him I couldn't really see the track's connection to trip-hop, he said it would fit nicely with the other artists, so who am I to argue with that. Download it here.

P.S.
Thanks for all the lovely comments in the guestbook lately :)
While I have trouble being creative it's lucky that someone else doesn't. That someone is a German guy by the name of Maximilian Müller. Maximilian recently asked permission to use my track Cacophony from the Inane and Serene album for his latest short film Twist, which I of course gave him.
Check it out at youtube, and keep your head on straight, coz the story is told backwards :)

My second album 'Phlegm not Sentient' is now available for free download.
I consider this album to be my best, structure wise. I feel I've become better at recording as well as creating music. I'm actually fond of all the tracks within the album, which hasn't always been the case with what I've made previously.
I hope you enjoy it. And feel free to share the album with your friends and loved ones ;)
Other news:
-There's a new member in the Savium family. Go to the picture section and say hi to my new trumpet Rebecca. She's named after an old Hitchcock movie, in case you're wondering.
-A new poem is also up. It's called 'I saw beauty on a bicycle', and I think it's about an alien being kissed for the first time... or whatever.
-My other band Djin has also recently made a demo which you are more than welcome to check out at myspace.com/djindk.

A new track titled "The Death of an Equestrian" is available and OMFG is all I can think of when I hear it.
I've had the idea to this track in my head for about 2 years, and suddenly it was ripe and ready for recording. Never in a million years would I think that it would end up the way it did. Spooky ska mixed with a bit of mathrock, doesn't get any more bizarre than that. The track first came to life while I was trying to figure out the intro to one of my favorite Tortoise tracks "I set my face to the hillside", suddenly I knew these new chords, and suddenly I was creating a ska-like track.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it :)

Finally!!! A new track is ready!!
It's a pretty self-indulgent track, and it's probably gonna be edited alot before it gets on the future planned album, but still I'm inviting you to take a quick trip with me through the clouds.
The track title "Sunward I've Climbed" is inspired by the poem High Flight by John Gillespie Magee Jr.

Happy new year!!!
I joined a band. We're called Djin. The music is of course instrumental, and to elaborate further, progressive rock. It's a bit like Russian Circles, but that's not entirely true coz none of the guys have heard of this band until I played it for them last week. Anyway, I'll let you know when we have some audible sounds on the web.
If you're waiting for new Savium material you'll probably have to wait a little longer, coz right now I'm busy trying to figure out my tribute to what the Djin members have created before I joined. However I have written my first poem in the new year (if you're into that sorta thing), it's called "Cavorite". Let me know if you find out what it's about, coz I'm not really sure myself...

A new schizo-track is ready, it‘s called “Irreducibly Beyond Elucidation“. The music is inspired by listening to a Light Sleeper, a great duo I came across on Myspace way back when, go check them out. The title itself is inspired by watching the old BBC TV series The Singing Detective, a work of art written by the brilliant TV writer Dennis Potter who is sadly no longer with us.
Another thing, if I counted right there are now over 50 free mp3s on this website, not all worth listening to, but still a bit of an accomplishment.
There’s so much fuzz about Myspace these days, artists/bands link their Myspace page on their official websites, so forsaking my individualism I’m putting up a link to my Myspace in the links section along with a Mymusic link.
Last, you might have noticed a new little icon down in the right corner of the front page, if you click on it you’ll be led to a page where you can see what rights you have when downloading my music, the site is part of CreativeCommons.org which is about; providing free tools that let authors, scientists, artists, and educators easily mark their creative work with the freedoms they want it to carry.
Until next time this is your captain saying: Dare to be benevolent!!!

Just a little update for you guys. I recently stumbled across a mini review of my latest album at freealbums.blogsome.com who’s dedicated to promoting free music/albums. Read it here. Savium kindly thanks for the attention.
Other news; Inspired by the review at mymusic.dk I have decided that my forthcoming 2007 album will be titled “Phlegm not Sentient”.
That is all for now, I’m working slowly on new material, but can’t promise anything new soon.

The first official review of the album “Inane and Serene” has seen the light of day. It has been published at the Danish website Mymusic.dk. In short it says that my music sucks because I don’t follow certain rules. English readers can read the translation
here.
Danish readers can read the original here.
Anyway, in spite of a bad review I have a new track for you, it’s gloomy, theatrical, and titled “pensive (Consoling the Treacherous Whore)”

There’s a new member in the family, her name is Cisette and she’s an Yamaha CS-5 Analog Synthesizer. Head on over to the picture section to see how she looks. If you also would like to hear how she sounds then download the new track "Pheromone Queen", lyrics can be read in the poetry section.
I would also like to thank you various people around the world wide web for the kind remarks you’ve given me regarding the new album “Inane and Serene”, it makes it all worth while. I must admit that it is the album that I’m most proud of myself as well. Thank you all!!!

Two new tracks are up, the first track is “Inane and Vast”, a bizarre little summer pop tune which completes the latest album "Inane and Serene".
So now you can finally download the whole album including cover.
Second track is “Into the light from Tyrone Ave.” This track was made in one day, and my attempt to deviate from my otherwise noisy sound.
After finishing the track I could easily hear the influences of David Pajo’s old projects Aerial M and Papa M surfacing.
That’s it for now, enjoy yourselves!

The new track Diekema has been uploaded, it’s a typical Savium tune with a dash of funkiness. And with Diekema finished I am only one track away from having completed the new album Inane and Serene.
If you randomly check this site you’ll also know that there’s finally an entertaining artsy fartsy drawing on the front page. It’s almost a rip-off from some random picture I found on the web with some people kissing, I just imitated it as a drawing but with very few lines. But hey, if Warhol can take someone’s picture and it make it his own artwork I guess I can too, or else I’m looking forward to a lawsuit…

Cacophony, such a beautiful word for noise, and also the title of a new track of mine.
The idea for this track has been residing in my head for about 3 or 4 years, it was the very first thing I played on my guitar right after having bought the Boss Digital Delay pedal, and now I have finally extracted it from my mind. It's really just an unstructured wannabe Mogwai track, but check it out anywayz...
You can find it under the music section or here.

Along with other artists my music is featured on the April 20th show of the podcast NextBigThing.
Besides the music there’s a little sound bite with me talking about my past and present inspiration sources, of course with a crappy Danish/English accent, I was also a bit absent when I recorded the sound bite so it kinda sounds like I'm stoned, but I assure you I was not :-)
To download the show go here.

Also a contact email is added in the Info section.

I have now translated the first serious review I've received from Danish to English, please forgive me if some of it seems a bit incoherent.
Those of you who would like to read it in Danish go here.
The English translation is here.

Finally it’s here, the official website to my anonymous personality!!!
I’ve chosen to make it completely minimalist, because my firm belief is that the music is the important thing, and not the visual presentation, so you’ll see no synchronized dancing in here, sorry… Although there will be a couple of weird looking drawings uploaded later on to decorate the site, but for now you’ll have to settle with the current look.
This site will mainly be for my instrumental music, but “poetry” and pictures will also be uploaded. Recently I’ve also been thinking about taking up painting, so you might even see some “art” in here as well.
In the music section you will find over 40 mp3’s ready to be downloaded totally free of charge. Four “official” albums, but also non-album and midi tracks, these tracks were some of the very first I made on computer, and I thought to myself that it would be fun for some to hear how I started out.
And to celebrate the grand opening you’ll also find a completely new track called “Stealth-Geek”, it was meant as an attempt to intertwine my newfound fondness of electro music and the synthesizer sound with my own sound, but instead I ended up doing one of the most heavy tracks ever to come out of my hands, oh well, maybe next time…
A bit about my plans for the future.
Currently I’m re-recording the “Hikikomori” and the “Savium Saliva” album, the tracks on these two albums never quite got what they deserved hence the re-recording.
I might do the same with the “Komprimeret & Kompromisloes” album, but that album is kind of the black sheep album which I made under a big musical depression, so I’m really heading towards forgetting that this album ever existed…
On top of all that I’m also trying to finish my latest album “Inane and Serene“.
When I’m done with all that, I’m planning to make some more electronic stuff, I’m kinda sick of the distorted guitar at the moment, I need to evolve. And as I said earlier I’m really into electro at the moment, and that’s something I’d like to explore more too, perhaps the product of that will be a new deviation called “electrock”.
Last but certainly not least I would like to thank the pioneer computer dude Kenneth Rasmussen (with all his great visions of free global networking), for taking the time and effort to make this website, a huge round of applause please! :)
Not to forget, I also want to thank you Sharon K. West, for letting me use an excerpt from one of her articles in which the word Savium is explained. You will find a link to her homesite in the links section, and there you will find more of her wonderful work.
Now go check out the site, download and enjoy the music, leave a kind comment if you want to. And don’t forget to check out all the other talented artists I’ve made links to in the links section!!!
